With experience that spans more than 18 years in servicing both public and private entities in the UAE, Iman Al Midfa started her journey into entrepreneurship, setting up Sadarah General Trading Group, and GHIZLAN Fashion House. A graduate of the American University in Dubai, Al Midfa was involved in establishing several projects in Dubai and Sharjah including Dubai Internet City, and Dubai Media City, in addition to landmark projects such as Al Majaz Waterfront, Heart of Sharjah & Al Montaza theme pa rk in Sharjah. In addition to her public work, she was also instrumental in setting up several private businesses for several business start ups especially within the fashion industry.
Today, she runs GHIZLAN Fashion House, an independent fashion brand that designs ready-to-wear garments for women. GHIZLAN’s collections are contemporary creations for the woman of today. Her work draws its inspiration from the rich cultures of the world, with each collection highlighting a journey the modern woman takes on her daily pursuit of success and beauty.
